A motorist was sentenced to prison for injuring another motorist in a car crash.
On December 3, 2018, 38-year-old Stephen Micalizzi of Southington was driving a vehicle when he figured in a car crash in Plainville that injured another motorist. He was already involved in illegal activities before the incident and was being pursued by authorities. After a thorough investigation, multiple charges were filed against Micalizzi, including driving under the influence. He was sentenced to three years in prison last Friday, to be followed by two years of probation and 100 hours of community service.
