Milford – Highway Vehicle Fire

A vehicle caught fire on the highway in Milford yesterday evening.

At around 8:40 p.m., authorities dispatched emergency crews to the southbound lanes of I-95 after receiving reports of an accident in the area. According to responders, a vehicle caught fire near Exit 40, resulting in a still unspecified level of injuries. Based on evidence already collected by officials, no other vehicle was involved in the incident. Medical personnel have already tended to motorists affected by the accident, though their identities have yet to be disclosed. Authorities are currently investigating the case and will release updates as their investigation progresses.

In the absence of immediately apparent causes, single-vehicle accidents are thoroughly investigated for less-obvious possibilities, including product defects. That said, and whatever the outcome of these investigations, if authorities discover any form of negligence, victims not responsible for these incidents may have the option of filing for damages as deemed appropriate by legal experts.
