Middletown – Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a pedestrian in Middletown Wednesday last week.
A few minutes past 9:00 p.m., 41-year-old Brooke Rich of Middletown was crossing the intersection of High and Washington Streets when she was struck by a dark-colored vehicle whose driver then immediately fled the area. Rich was immediately tended to by responding paramedics but died from her injuries. Officials have identified a vehicle that may have been involved in the incident but are still asking witnesses or anyone with potentially useful info to contact them as soon as possible. This story will be updated as new info is released.
Many pedestrian accidents result in fatalities, so it’s only appropriate that all measures are exhausted in identifying culprits and bringing them to justice. Witnesses are always advised to share what they know so that these cases can be solved, and victims or their families can find closure.
