Middletown – Crash Victim Has Died
The victim of last Saturday’s car crash in Middletown has just died.
20-year-old Sarah Jewell Tyrcha was driving on Maromas Road when her vehicle suddenly swerved off the roadway near Bear Hill Road. The vehicle then crashed into a tree before stopping. Tyrcha had to be extricated by responding firefighters before she was brought to Hartford Hospital. She remained in critical condition for a few days before her death yesterday. The incident is still under active investigation, and officials are encouraging witnesses to contact them as soon as possible.
