Marlborough – Motorcycle Crash Victim Identified
The victim of the motorcycle crash in Marlborough last Monday has been identified.
60-year-old Yvan Soucy of Colchester was the rider of the motorcycle that crashed on Route 2 crossing Marlborough. At around 4:10 p.m., he was traveling east when his motorcycle swerved from its lane and hit a guardrail, throwing Soucy off the bike. He eventually died from injuries sustained in the crash. It is still unclear why Soucy’s motorcycle suddenly swerved. Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them immediately.
The accident highlights the challenges of determining the causes of these types of accidents. That said, authorities will eventually identify what caused this incident, and if product defects are discovered, victims (or relatives/family members, in this case) can file for compensation claims.
