Manchester – Pedestrian Injured In Crash

A pedestrian was struck by a car near an intersection in Manchester yesterday afternoon.

The incident was reported before 5:00 p.m. and occurred on Center Street (Route 6), near its intersection with Main Street. The victim sustained serious injuries after getting hit by a passing vehicle. Emergency responders immediately took the pedestrian to Hartford Hospital for treatment. His/her current status has not been disclosed, and no word yet on the location and status of the vehicle and its driver. This crash is currently under investigation.
