Manchester – Fatal Injury In Truck Hit
A man was fatally wounded after getting hit by a truck in Manchester last Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. in front of the Extended Stay America Hotel on 340 Tolland Turnpike. Police responded to reports of the incident and discovered 27-year-old Ramiro Francisco Onorato lying on the ground with serious injuries after reportedly being hit by a pickup truck. Onorato was immediately brought to St. Francis Hospital where he died less than an hour later. The driver of the truck; identified as 30-year-old Octavio Barron from Charlotte, N.C.; was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, breach of peace, reckless driving and negligent homicide. The case remains open and authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
