Hartford – Motorcycle Crash Victim Identified
Officials just identified the victim of last Saturday’s motorcycle crash in Hartford.
21-year-old Pedro Torres of Hartford was riding a 2014 Suzuki SFV650 with a 19-year-old passenger when they crashed at the intersection of Locust and East Elliot Streets. Torres sustained critical injuries in the accident and was transported to Hartford Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His 19-year-old passenger also sustained injuries. Authorities have yet to release the identity of the female passenger, and they also disclosed that the motorcycle they were riding was declared stolen last month. The crash is still under investigation. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
Officials are still investigating this crash and have yet to determine the cause of the accident. That said, if investigators establish negligence, DUI or reckless behavior, aggrieved parties not responsible for the crash may have options they can discuss with legal experts, including filing for damages.
