Hartford – Hit-And-Run Victim Identified
Hartford officials have released the identity of the person who died in a hit-and-run incident last weekend.
21-year-old Dahaiza Stewart was one of three occupants of a Kia Sorrento SUV that was involved a crash with an Infiniti G35 whose occupants fled the crash scene. Stewart and her two companions were immediately brought to the hospital by emergency crews. Stewart was pronounced dead in the hospital. Her two companions sustained injuries. The case remains open as authorities continue to follow leads that would help them apprehend the hit-and-run suspects.
