Hartford – Fatal Motorcycle Crash
A motorcycle rider was killed in an accident in Hartford last Tuesday evening.
The victim was identified as 55-year-old Charles Holder. According to authorities, Holder was riding his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle on West Service Road that evening when he lost control of the bike, crashing into a guardrail. Holder was thrown off the vehicle, sustaining critical injuries in the process. Officials have yet to determine if another vehicle or a pedestrian was involved in the incident. The case is still under investigation, and authorities will release more information as soon as they become available.
Evidence already available in this case is suggesting that the victim was not wearing any safety equipment when the crash occurred. Having said that, investigators will study the case thoroughly before making a conclusion. Suffice it to say, if they discover negligence not associated with the victim, his family may have the option of filing for damages if their legal counsel deems it appropriate.
