Hamden – Man Shot Inside Car
A man was killed in a roadside incident in Hamden last Friday.
A few minutes before 9:00 p.m., authorities received reports of gunfire on 1126 Dixwell Avenue. Officers were immediately sent to the area and discovered 35-year-old Corey Gomes inside a Nissan Altima with a gunshot injury. Gomes was quickly transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital but was pronounced dead soon after. No other person of interest was at the scene when authorities arrived. The case is currently under active investigation. Officials are asking witnesses or anyone with possibly useful info to contact them right away.

Having said that, victims of these incidents or their families can consult legal experts so that opportunities to find closure will be available to them.
