Hamden – Highway Crash

A rush-hour crash was reported in Hamden yesterday.

Authorities received reports of an accident on Route 15 North and immediately sent emergency teams on-site. According to officials, an unspecified number of vehicles crashed on the highway about a tenth of a mile before Exit 61 (Whitney Avenue). Damage and injuries were reported, though their extent/severity has yet to be described. A portion of Route 15 was blocked off following the incident, and it took road crews more than an hour to remove all obstructions.
