Griswold – Interstate Accident

A vehicle crash was reported in Griswold yesterday morning.

Emergency teams were dispatched to I-395 North following reports of an accident in the area. According to responders, a tractor-trailer collided with a smaller vehicle between Exits 21 and 22, resulting in moderate damage and injuries. Firefighters and paramedics have since arrived in the area to assist all involved motorists. Entrapment has not been reported, but the crash forced the closure of the entire northbound side of the interstate. All lanes have since been cleared. The incident is under investigation.

Despite the risk of traffic disruptions in surrounding areas, crash responders are frequently forced to close roadways following accidents. Suffice it to say, protecting the safety of everyone involved in these incidents will always be the priority. Having said that, motorists involved in crashes involving DUI, reckless behavior, or negligence are advised to consult legal experts so that they can be informed of their options. These avenues can hopefully help them cope and find closure.
