Griswold – Fatal Motorcycle Crash
A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Griswold last Tuesday morning.
At around 12:22 a.m., 28-year-old Isaac Watson, a resident of 625 Storrs Street, was riding his motorcycle north on Glasgow Road (Route 201) when his bike suddenly swerved off the roadway and crashed. Watson was thrown off his vehicle, fell on the ground and sustained critical injuries. He was pronounced dead at the crash site. According to officials, they have yet to collect evidence that points to the possible involvement of another vehicle. The crash remains under investigation and authorities are asking possible witnesses or anyone with information to contact them as soon as possible.
While there have been many cases of negligent drivers causing single-vehicle accidents in the past, there have also been cases of product/vehicle defects causing similar incidents. Because of these scenarios, it’s always the goal of crash investigators to sift through all available evidence to ensure that liability is accurately established. This will not only allow culprits to be brought to justice, but also enable accident victims to pursue legal opportunities that will help them find closure.
