Greenwich – Early Morning Highway Crash
Two vehicles were involved in a highway crash in Greenwich early yesterday morning.
The incident occurred on the southbound side of I-95 crossing Greenwich, near exit 2 and the New York state line. At approximately 6:00 a.m., a tractor-trailer collided with another vehicle on the right lane of the highway, resulting in injuries and prompting officials to cordon off that lane while they assist those involved in the crash. The scene has since been cleared by authorities. The identities of those involved, as well as other details of the accident, will be released by officials when they become available.
Collisions involving large vehicles, such as tractor-trailers, can sometimes result in serious injuries to parties involved, accurately identifying the causes of these accidents is important to authorities. This is worth mentioning because in cases where negligence is involved, injured parties may be entitled to file damage/compensation claims.
