Glastonbury – Pedestrian Incident Victim Identified
Authorities just released the identity of last Thursday’s pedestrian crash in Glastonbury.
84-year-old Valda Dienavs of Glastonbury was attempting to cross Griswold Street to retrieve her mail when she was struck and killed by a vehicle whose driver then fled the scene. Residents in the area have mentioned that speeding has become a serious issue. Authorities are still investigating the incident and have yet to provide additional details.
