Fairfield – Intersection Crash
Two vehicles were involved in an accident in Fairfield yesterday.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 5:47 p.m. and immediately dispatched fire and medical crews to the intersection of Congress Street and Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58). According to reports, two vehicles figured in a collision that resulted in airbag deployment and injuries. Officials have yet to identify motorists affected by the incident, though EMS crews have already tended to those injured. The crash is currently under investigation.
