Fairfield – Highway Truck Accident

A truck collided with a car on the highway in Fairfield last Sunday evening.

At 8:07 p.m., authorities received reports of a crash between Exits 22 and 21 on I-95 South. Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the area and discovered a small vehicle that had collided with a tractor-trailer, resulting in moderate damage and injuries. Two lanes of the interstate were blocked following the crash, forcing road crews to cordon off a significant portion of the highway to allow responders to assist involved motorists. The area was cleared about an hour later, but officials are still investigating the cause of the incident. Updates will be provided as authorities release more info.

Heavy delays and additional accidents are issues that crash responders have to deal with when tractor-trailers are involved in various incidents. These crashes almost always result in injuries, so identifying what causes them can help aggrieved parties find closure. In these instances, victims are encouraged to seek legal guidance. They have to be informed of their options and given appropriate advice.
