Fairfield – Charges Filed In DUI Case
A motorist is facing charges following a crash in Fairfield yesterday.
At around 8:00 a.m., a 2008 Jeep Compass with multiple occupants was traveling north on Burr Street when it suddenly veered to the right, hitting the shoulder and rolling over before coming to a stop. The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Chris Lucero, was unhurt, while his female passenger sustained injuries. Officers immediately arrived at the scene and noticed signs of DUI. Field sobriety tests were administered to Lucero which he failed. He is now facing multiple charges related to the incident and is scheduled to appear in court on December 16.
