Ellington – Injury After Road Maintenance Accident
A government employee was injured in a road accident in Ellington last Monday.
The incident occurred in front of 30 Maplewood Drive at around 12:52 p.m. The victim was part of a crew working on a maintenance project. Emergency crews arrived and immediately airlifted the victim to a local hospital. According to authorities, the person sustained a serious neck injury but was in stable condition. Town officials are now investigating the cause of the accident. The identity of the victim and additional details have yet to be disclosed by authorities.
