East Lyme – Pedestrian Hospitalized After Accident
A pedestrian was seriously injured in East Lyme yesterday morning.
The incident occurred at 91 Riverview Road where officials believe a vehicle leaving the complex in the area hit a pedestrian. Local police were informed of the incident and immediately requested LifeStar support. The victim was airlifted to Yale-New Haven Hospital for treatment. The area around the scene was closed by officials while they investigated the incident. It has since been reopened. Additional information will be provided by authorities when they become available.
