East Haven – Motorcycle Crash With Multiple Injuries

A motorcycle collided with a truck in East Haven last Friday evening.

Local officials responded to North High Street last Friday following reports of a crash between Maple Street and Foxon Road. According to authorities, a red motorcycle with two occupants collided with a truck in the area. Both riders sustained serious injuries in the crash and were transported to the hospital for treatment. Responders had to close a portion of the roadway immediately following the incident — the scene has since been cleared. Officials are still investigating the incident and will release more info when appropriate.

The causes of motorcycle accidents are not always clear-cut, and it can be challenging to assign liability in some cases. That said, it’s imperative that accountability is established, simply because almost all motorcycle incidents result in serious injuries. Investigating these cases will not only bring culprits to justice but also allow certain legal avenues injured parties may pursue to help them cope with these traumatic events.
