East Hartford – Highway Crash

A crash occurred on the highway in East Hartford yesterday morning.

According to responders, the accident occurred between Exits 56 and 55 and have resulted in moderate delays in the area. Injuries were reported, though officials have yet to specify the number of vehicles and motorists involved in the incident. The crash site has since been cleared, and everyone affected has since been tended to by emergency personnel. The crash is currently under investigation, and authorities will release updates when appropriate.

Accidents on major thoroughfares such as I-84 and I-95 almost always result in delays, and authorities are required to process and clear these crash sites as quickly as possible. Of course, this is done while still allowing enough time for crash investigators to do their work, as establishing liability is imperative. Officials can use data collected from these investigations to bring culprits to justice, while victims can use these to pursue legal options that can help them find closure.
