East Haddam – Injuries In Utility Pole Crash

A motorist was hospitalized following a crash in East Haddam early Saturday morning.

A motorist was driving a truck on Town Street (Route 82) at approximately 2:45 a.m. when the vehicle suddenly swerved off the roadway, crashing into a telephone pole. The driver sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital by responders. No word yet on whether or not other motorists or pedestrians were involved in the incident.
