Derby – Police Identifying Crash Victim
State Police are looking for help investigating the multiple-vehicle crash in Derby last Wednesday morning.
Two people involved in the accident are currently in the hospital and are unable to talk to investigators. They sustained serious injuries in the crash on the southbound side of Route 8, in the area of exit 17. Multiple vehicles were involved in the incident. Officials are now trying to identify one of the hospitalized victims: a black male around 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 lbs. He is believed to be approximately 40 years old and has several tattoos on both arms. Authorities have released pictures of the victim and are asking anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them as soon as possible.
