In many cases, road blockages are intentionally initiated by emergency responders as this will allow them to assist parties involved in accidents with relative safety. This will also allow crash investigators to collect evidence so that causes/culprits are accurately identified. These procedures will help authorities bring responsible parties to justice, as well as allow injured motorists to file for damages in cases where DUI, reckless behavior or negligence have been established.
