Darien – Interstate Truck Accident

Officials responded to an interstate crash in Darien yesterday evening.

Authorities received reports of a crash on I-95 North at approximately 9:20 p.m. Responders dispatched to the area discovered a truck crash about half a mile before Exit 10 (Noroton Avenue). Moderate damage and injuries were reported, prompting officers to request multiple teams on-site. No word yet on the total number of involved vehicles and motorists; and road crews were able to reopen all lanes a few minutes past 10:00 p.m. The incident is currently under active investigation.
