Officials have identified the victims of the single-vehicle crash on the northbound lanes of I-95. A Volkswagen Passat suddenly swerved off the roadway between Exits 9 and 10, crashing into a tree before coming to a stop. The vehicle had five occupants when the accident occurred. 19-year-old Victor Emanuel Deleon of Norwalk sustained critical injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. 19-year-old Indira S. Officials handling this case have yet to identify the cause of the crash. In the absence of immediately obvious causes, other factors, such as product defects, might also be considered.
