Darien – Evening Crash On The Highway
Authorities responded to a highway crash in Darien yesterday evening.
At around 7:02 p.m., state and local officials received reports of the crash and dispatched fire and EMS crews to an area about a third of a mile past Exit 13 on the southbound side of I-95. According to responders, the crash resulted in injuries, though they have yet to specify the number of vehicles and motorists affected by the incident. Road crews were forced to close a section of the highway to allow an investigation of the crash. All lanes were cleared around an hour later. Officials are still investigating the incident and will release updates when appropriate.
