Danbury – Single-Vehicle Crash
An early morning crash in Danbury last Saturday resulted in serious injuries.
At approximately 2:11 a.m., authorities received reports of a crash in the area of 43 Pembroke Road (Route 37) and immediately sent emergency crews to the area. According to responders, a Scion TC traveling north on Route 37 suddenly veered off the roadway, crashing into a guardrail, utility pole and a tree before coming to a stop. The driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and was immediately transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment. No word yet on whether or not another vehicle was involved in the accident. The crash is still under investigation and officials are asking possible witnesses to contact them as soon as possible.
Product defects, among other factors, are considered when authorities investigate single-vehicle accidents without immediately obvious causes. Whatever the outcome of these cases, if officials discover negligence, injured parties not responsible for these crashes may have the option of filing for damages as deemed appropriate by their legal counsel.
