Danbury – Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle

A pedestrian was hospitalized following an incident in Danbury last Sunday.

An individual was in a heated argument with Tan Prazeres who was driving a vehicle at the time of the incident. Prazeres tried to attack the pedestrian but got back into his car instead. He drove erratically on Triangle Street before hitting the man. The victim sustained serious injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital, while authorities were able to arrest Prazeres a short time later with the help of a witness. Prazeres is now facing charges of evading responsibility, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 13.
