Danbury – Motorcyclist In Serious Crash

A motorcyclist was trapped under a vehicle in Danbury last Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 4:00 p.m., authorities received reports of a crash in front of 52 Federal Road and immediately dispatched emergency crews. According to responders, a 2004 Harley Davidson driven by a 25-year-old man from Brooklyn collided with a 2012 Dodge Ram operated by a 51-year-old man from Port Chester. The motorcycle slid under the pickup truck — the rider was trapped and had to be extricated by firefighters. He was immediately transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck was not injured. The accident is currently being investigated by officials. They are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them as soon as possible.

As exhibited in this case, most motorcycle accidents result in serious injuries to riders. Establishing accountability in these cases is an important goal for accident investigators. This is also important to victims as this enables them to file for damages with the help of their legal counsel, particularly in accidents where negligence has been established.
