Danbury – Hit-And-Run On The Interstate
Two vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run incident in Danbury last Thursday morning.
The incident occurred on the westbound side of I-84 crossing Danbury, just before exit 4. At approximately 3:44 a.m., a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer collided with a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu, causing both vehicles to veer off the highway. The 41-year-old driver of the Malibu sustained injuries in the crash. The driver of the Trailblazer left the scene of the incident. 33-year-old Jesus Rosas and 34-year-old Jose Rosas, both from Ridgefield, remained with the Trailblazer and also sustained injuries. Officials had to close two lanes of the highway immediately after the incident, causing massive delays in the area. The area has since been cleared. The case is still being investigated. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run driver to contact them as soon as possible.
