Danbury – Bike-Car Collision

A bike collided with a vehicle in Danbury yesterday morning.

At approximately 11:25 a.m., firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to North Street/Route 37 after receiving reports of an accident in the area. According to responders, a bike crashed into a car, resulting in injuries to the rider. The occupants of the vehicle were not hurt. The victim was evaluated and treated on-site — no word yet on whether or not anyone was transported to the hospital. The crash blocked off one lane of the roadway, though road crews were able to clear the scene just several minutes later. The incident is currently under investigation.
