Authorities investigating single-vehicle accidents are required to explore vehicle defects/failures as possible causes, among other factors. Responsible parties have to be brought to justice so that similar incidents can be prevented. Whatever the outcome, the discovery of any form of negligence can also enable aggrieved parties to pursue their own legal options. These avenues can help them find closure after these tragic events.
