A motorist was killed in a crash in Cos Cob, Greenwich last Thursday.

Firefighters and paramedics were sent to the intersection of Cross Lane and East Putnam Avenue after authorities received reports of a crash in the area. At approximately 10:30 p.m., a vehicle traveling east swerved off the roadway and hit several roadside structures before crashing into a building. 47-year-old Andrew Miller of Bridgeport sustained critical injuries and had to be extricated by firefighters. He was taken to Stamford Hospital but was pronounced dead soon after. There is currently no indication other vehicles were involved in the incident. Officials are currently investigating the crash and are expected to release updates when appropriate.
