Brookfield – Fatal Injuries After Crash
A car was involved in a fatal car crash in Brookfield last Saturday evening.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on Candlewood Lake Road. The vehicle was traveling northbound and was at the entrance of Candlewood Birches when it swerved from the roadway, hitting a utility pole and a parked car. The driver was trapped and needed to be extricated from the car by emergency crews. The driver was then immediately transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment but was later pronounced dead by hospital officials. No other person or vehicle was involved in the crash.
Single-vehicle accidents can be caused by driver error or, in some documented cases, vehicle defects. These cases need to be investigated thoroughly to eliminate every possibility. In case of product/vehicle defects, victims or their families can seek the help of expert legal counsel in filing for damages/compensation claims.
