Bristol – Multi-Vehicle Accident
Two people were hospitalized after a multiple-vehicle collision in Bristol yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Pine Street (Route 72), near its intersection with Hemlock Street. At around 3:00 p.m., three vehicles were involved in a collision that forced two cars into the yard of a residential property. Emergency crews quickly arrived and closed down the accident site to facilitate cleanup operations. EMS crews transported two motorists to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The accident caused heavy delays in the area, though the site has since been cleared. Officials have yet to identify any of the victims pending an investigation. They will do so when appropriate.
Multiple-vehicle collisions can be challenging to investigate because the causes of these accidents are not immediately obvious. That said, once they establish liability in these cases, injured parties not accountable for these incidents may have the option of filing for damages with the help of expert legal counsel.
