Bridgeport – Truck Crash On Highway
A truck accident blocked several lanes of the highway in Bridgeport yesterday morning.
The incident was reported at 4:49 a.m. and prompted authorities to dispatch emergency crews to the southbound lanes of I-95. According to officials, a tractor-trailer crashed before Exit 27, blocking the shoulder and two right lanes of the interstate. No word yet on the number of vehicles and motorists involved in the incident, but fire and EMS crews were requested to the area to assist everyone involved in the crash. The incident resulted in heavy delays stretching back to Exit 32. Authorities are currently investigating the incident. Updates will be provided as soon as more info becomes available.
