Bridgeport – Serious Injuries After Two-Vehicle Crash
There was a major accident in downtown Bridgeport last Saturday.
The crash occurred at around 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue (Route 130) and Courtland Street where two vehicles figured in a crash. Firefighters arrived at the scene immediately after the incident to assist parties involved. Additional units/equipment were requested at around 5:48 p.m. because one driver was reportedly trapped inside his vehicle and had to be extricated by authorities. The driver was freed at around 5:59 p.m. Drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries from the incident.
