Bridgeport – Roadside Assault With Injuries
A person was injured following a street altercation in Bridgeport last Monday.
At around 3:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Park and Taft Avenues to assist a person who was injured in a reported roadside assault. According to authorities, several individuals, including minors, converged on-site and started an argument. The incident turned violent and at least one person was injured after he/she was hit by a bat. Two minors were arrested when officials arrived, and the injured person was quickly tended to by responders. The case is currently under investigation, and officials will provide more details when appropriate.
