Two suspects involved in street racing back in April 2018 are now facing prison time.
Yesterday, 24-year-old Aaron Perkins and 29-year-old Ronald Patterson pleaded guilty to charges of reckless driving, driving under the influence, vehicle misconduct and racing on a city street. Their case is now up for sentencing. They are facing up to three years in prison for these charges. Back on April 6, 2018, Perkins and Patterson were racing each other on Lordship Boulevard. Perkins swerved off the road and hit a tree. 20-year-old Dawaan Edwards, his passenger, sustained major injuries and was killed in the incident.
