A teen was injured in a road shooting in Bridgeport last Monday evening.

Local police responded to reports of gunfire on Bell Street and immediately dispatched officers to the area. According to responders, an 18-year-old male was discovered in the area with a serious leg injury. He was reportedly shot at by an unidentified assailant who then fled the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and are asking anyone with relevant info to contact them as soon as possible.

Shootings like this can be caused by many factors and, in the absence of witnesses, can be challenging to investigate. That said, authorities will eventually be able to establish liability in all of these cases so that responsible parties can be brought to justice. It’s also important to note that parties injured due to reckless or negligent behavior may, in certain cases, have legal options at their disposal.
