Bridgeport – Pedestrian Injured By Car
A pedestrian was injured by a car in Bridgeport last Sunday evening.
Authorities received reports of the accident at approximately 10:09 p.m. and quickly dispatched emergency crews to Fairfield Avenue (Route 130) between Princeton Street and Melrose Avenue. A pedestrian was hit by a passing vehicle while attempting to cross the road. The victim sustained injuries in the incident but remained conscious and responsive. The vehicle that hit the pedestrian immediately stopped and has cooperated with authorities. The incident is still being investigated. The identities of those involved will be released when appropriate.
