Bridgeport – Pedestrian Injured At Intersection
A pedestrian was seriously hurt in an accident in Bridgeport yesterday evening.
Emergency crews received reports of the accident at 6:48 p.m. and went to the intersection of Park Avenue and North Avenue (Route 1). A pedestrian was hit by a passing car, resulting in serious injuries. The victim was immediately brought to Bridgeport Hospital for evaluation and treatment. Park Avenue was closed immediately after authorities arrived but has since reopened. More details have yet to be released by officials pending an investigation into the cause of the accident.
