Bridgeport – Pedestrian Incident
Authorities responded to a pedestrian incident in Bridgeport late Friday evening.
At approximately 11:11 p.m., responders were dispatched to the intersection of Gem Avenue and Whitney Place following reports of an accident in the area. According to authorities, a pedestrian was injured by a still-unidentified vehicle. EMS crews quickly tended to the injured person, but he was not transported to the hospital as his son was waiting at the scene. No word yet on the status of the vehicle and its driver.
