Bridgeport – Pedestrian Accident
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Bridgeport early yesterday evening.
The incident was reported to authorities at 6:09 p.m. Emergency teams were dispatched to an area near the intersection of Palisade Avenue and Stewart Street and discovered an injured pedestrian. EMS teams have since tended to the victim, but no word yet on his/her current status and if the victim was transported to the hospital. Officials have yet to identify the striking vehicle or its operator. Authorities are currently investigating the incident and will release more info in due time.
