Bridgeport – Motorist Shot Inside Car
A motorist was shot by a suspect in Bridgeport last Sunday evening.
At approximately 8:40 p.m., authorities received reports of gunfire on Gilman Street and immediately sent officers to the area. According to responders, a motorist sustained an arm injury after a still unidentified suspect shot the victim. A car reportedly pulled up beside the victim’s vehicle before gunshots were heard. EMS crews have since tended to the victim’s injury. The case is currently being investigated by authorities. They are asking possible witnesses to come forward and contact them.
The details surrounding this incident seem to point to an issue more complicated than what is now apparent. That said, investigators will exhaust all means to establish accountability in this case. Suffice it to say, motorists injured due to DUI, reckless behavior or negligence will have options at their disposal. Discussing these possibilities with their legal counsel should be beneficial to them.
