Bridgeport – Intersection Crash With Entrapment
A motorist was trapped after a crash in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 5:18 p.m., emergency crews responded to an accident at the intersection of William Street and East Washington Avenue. According to authorities, one person was trapped after two vehicles collided in the area. Firefighters had to extricate the victim, after which the motorist was transported to the hospital for treatment. Officials have yet to identify those involved in the crash pending an investigation. They will provide updates when appropriate.
