Bridgeport – Intersection Crash With Entrapment

Two vehicles collided at an intersection in Bridgeport early Friday morning.

At approximately 1:11 a.m., local officials were alerted to a crash at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Brewster Street. Firefighters and paramedics were immediately dispatched to the area and discovered two vehicles that collided, resulting in entrapment to at least one motorist in one of the involved vehicles. Injuries were reported, but no word yet on whether or not anyone was transported to the hospital. Firefighters have since extricated the trapped occupant, while EMS personnel have since tended to all affected individuals. The crash is currently under investigation.
